How Richest in World works
Richest in World is a king-of-the-hill game on this website. One person is shown as #1. Anyone can replace them by paying one US dollar more than the current crown — in a single payment. Older payments do not add up.
This is entertainment. It is not Forbes, not an investment, and not a measure of real net worth. You only buy a temporary display rank, a name, and an optional one-line taunt.
The three rules
- Next price = current crown + $1 (capped; see Terms).
- Rank is decided when payment is confirmed. The browser redirect is not enough — the live board updates after the payment provider confirms.
- If two people pay near the same time, only the first confirmed amount above the live crown wins. The other charge is listed as a siege and is not refunded automatically.
What you can show
Your name, optional message, and optional link appear on the home board and on a shareable king page. Email is optional and only used to tell you if you are dethroned.

- No. Richest in World is an entertainment game. Paying does not make you wealthy or change your real net worth.
- How do I become the richest on the site?
- Pay one dollar more than the current crown in a single payment. Older payments do not stack. If you win, your name and optional message appear on the throne.
- What if two people pay at the same time?
- Only the first confirmed payment that is higher than the live crown takes #1. The other payment is listed as a siege and is not refunded automatically.
- Are payments refunded if I get overthrown?
- No. Rank is temporary display on this website. Payments are processed by Dodo Payments in USD.
- What appears on the public board?
- The name, taunt, optional link, and amount you submit. Email is only used for a dethrone alert if you provide one.
